jens wrote:(clipping though...)
What you say

The clipping is on the input and I absolutely don't intend to re-track that tune. Well, it's not a tune, it's just some notes over a chord progression. Meant to be an excercise in arranging, but I didn't have a tune at the time.

And I think it clips very nice :P

:D

Shit man! That's gorgeous! How much'd ya pay for that bitch? She's definitely a hottie!

Now you have to sample it with 5 velocity layers from every note, muting, string noises, powerchords, etc..etc..etc..and compile it into a free soundfont for us. :D

Ick... I don't fancy it. The body looks well too big for my tastes. Glad you like it though Jens! I know what its like to buy a new guitar and love it. :D

Although I own a beautiful American-made 1952 Tele reissue and a Strat Elite that I love, I still miss a guitar I sold years ago:

a vintage Epihone Casino with, you guessed it, f-holes... ;)

Nah, I'm sure you deserve it. :)

Basically they are loud. And clean.
mckenic wrote:BTW What do you guys think of the Line6 amps]
Once tested a guitar with a Line 6 amp. I liked it. But as I don't play live (anymore) I'm not that much into amps. I guess Line 6 is pretty expensive. For amp simulation I stick with my V-Amp 2 (and my neighbours still talk to me  ). It does what I need.

IMHO the legendary amp sounds depend heavily on the physical experience you have when you crank up an amp. The recorded sound at living room/appartment level may be a totally different thing. For that I'm quite happy with the V-Amp or with a software simulation. I'm sure I would be happy with a Pod, too ... if I wanted to shell out that kind of cash

yep - as clean as an emergency-room I'd say...

(but really lovely sounding - you just can't get the tubes to crunch...)
