hi forum freaks,

we are proud to give you a preview of our forthcoming product:

the ArtsAcoustic Reverb

Image

we have been putting a lot of research, heart and passion into this product, and we hope you will enjoy it.

the ArtsAcoustic Reverb is a high quality reverb for everyday use in a professional studio.
this plugin is (unlike the current trend) a highly advanced, but easy to use algorithmic reverb, so no convolution is involved.

why no convolution?
several issues made us believe that there is a need for algorithmic reverbs, such as having full control not only over a few, but all important parameters which are needed to design a room for perfect results. if you ever had the chance to tweak expensive hi end reverbs you know what we speak of.

so what was the aim?
next to the sound of a hi end reverb, which was our highest priority of course, it is mostly very important to edit the room/reverb to suit into the given situation. even the smoothest reverb tail is not much of use if it doesn´t fit into the mix.
every musical project has different requests, therefore the reverb has to give the user the possibility to always do a certain function in the mix. based on our experience this is not too often the case with reverb units whether it´s hard- or software, unless you want to spend a lot of money - of course exceptions tighten the rule.

another focus was the cpu usage.
we think that many plugins eat a lot of cpu, thus complicating the workflow in an unacceptable way.
the ArtsAcoustic Reverb is highly optimized to work flawlessly without eating up your cpu, no matter how hard you tweak it.
we created the ArtsAcoustic Reverb to compete with the challenge to reach the highest quality possible with a native plugin that is calculated by the host´s cpu.

experience!
as words cannot really describe sound quality and everything is a matter of taste, please have a listen to the following audio demos and hear for yourself! we have included the dry signals as seperate files. feel free to download these files for comparison:

here is a special one, which demonstrates the true stereo processing of the ArtsAcoustic Reverb:

loop_moving_through_room.mp3

and at last, here is a snipet of a song, fully created with the ArtsAcoustic Reverb.
we`ve included the dry mix so that you can hear the difference.
it showes how this reverb can sound in a mix. this song was created by the beat creators,
who are deeply involved into tv commericals. special thanks to them.

So far it sounds very good, but it's not by very far ;-). Off to comparing...

Sounds nice. Could we see some smaller room demos? Like a pop snare with a quick decay.

please check the loop demo. it showes pretty much the small room characteristics, which can be used for snares.i`ve allready loaded up so much, this has to be enough, as the traffic is huge allready. however, the demoversion comes with over 200 presets, sorted in instrument categories.
there are a bunch of different snare rooms allready included. :)
once the demoversion is up i`ll drop a note.
you can try for yourself then, in your enviroment and on your speakers.

thanks! this was one of our priorities.
many reverbs sound cold and metallic, even very expensive ones. i often went nuts because of this,
especially if the original sound is a non-pitch modulating signal and very static in it`s frequency.
that was a tough one to implement. :D
