Anyone agree? The quality in the Cafe has gone up a notch?

Today is the first real concerted effort in a while to really try and download a bunch of tracks and provide some feedback.
I have to say I am bloody gobsmacked at the quality that is being produced by KvR'ers at the moment, nary a bad track out of the couple of dozen I have downloaded ... and I am only at the top of page two.
Who needs to buy CD's anymore? Great stuff!
Anyone agree?

in the following week I'm seriously going to finish 3-7 tracks and I will dump them all in the music cafe. It should be back to normal rubbish then

Hi Steven,
I'm sure koorby meant that in a good way. Like someone can now have good music buying only the CDs from posters in the Music Cafe.

Has someone ever noticed that there are no keyboard players in the KVR's bands?

Cool site, soundoo. Have you sold many CD's that way? Do they take care of packaging etc?Steven West wrote:"Who needs to buy CD's anymore? Great stuff!"

You may also have a very valid point -- at least for the near future. With satellite radio getting huge and receivers getting Ipod-sized, we may not need any physical packaging anymore -- maybe just streams any time we want from whatever online site we choose.
*Steven - love you dude.. I'd buy your CDs regardless just to 'ave 'em!

I agree with Koorby, the quality of a lot of tracks has gone quite up.
Also, KVR seems to become more like an allround style playground - which is really great. Just as of lately I've been listening to some really nice rock/grunge/whatever tunes.
Seems as if finally the revolution in (more or less) homebased recording is actually taking place all throughout genres.
