lol. I wouldn't mind...but i couldn't do it based on the sole fact that it's a commercial product that you don't own the copyrights too. Don't think They would be happy with you sending me sonik synth and then having me convert their samples.3*s wrote:Er, mind mapping the entire Sonic Synth library for me?

That's very kind of you Tim. I heard that the sf2 version of Kingston's easyrider and ruffrider drums had some problems. They are available as Halion at least if I remember correctly and they are free. So if you have time for a proper conversion to sf2 or sfz that would be very nice

Well, Kontakt (at least version 2) is importing close to any format there is more or less as well as any converter would. So, what would converting TO Kontakt format offer?3*s wrote:Out of curiousity, is there some program that can convert TO kontakt libraries?
However, I have a whole bunch of EXS patches that I might like to share with some people.
Unfortunately, a lot of them make use of the EXS synthesizing options (filters, LFOs, envelopes), so I'm not sure how much sense it'd make to convert them into, say SF2 - which would mean to lose all EXS specific settings.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

This is true, you'd lose those settings converting them to sf2 and the like. But i could copy the settings on samplers like kontakt and halion, etc. This would be done for free, as long as the sample set was provided to public for free.Sascha Franck wrote:Well, Kontakt (at least version 2) is importing close to any format there is more or less as well as any converter would.
