Sidechain compression in FL Studio?

Yes, I know it could be done with a Peak Controler, but I wondering if there is a way to use any external Compressors with a Sidechain capability in FLS Mixer? I've been playing around trying to recreated that tek-house Benassi bass which requires sidechain compression for a beat/saw-bass pumping effect. I'm still not sure which compressor to get for this effect, but would like to found out if it could be used in Fruity Mixer like others suggested they're using it in SX3 and Logic.

Slim Slow Slider does a VST sidechain compressor; my friend uses FLS and he reckons that's the business.

That's what I'm thinking too. Lets see if I can get any other replies, including at Looptalk.

K-Bird, can you ask you friend how he got it to work there? The only way I can think of is by automating compressor's gain control parameter and linking it back to Peak Controller, but not directly by routing a kick signal to drive Sidechain.

Maybe FLS will come up with some kind of a solution similar to their vocoder where you route one signal on the left channel, and the other one on the right channel, or something like that.

Why bother? You can get that Benassi sound very easily with the Peak Controller. Far more efficiently than side-chain compressors in Cubase, for example.

Note the ducking of the saw, the high-pass filter sweep, the heavy reverb ... all of the tricks. Tweak to taste.

WOW, that was NICE!!!!!! Thank you very much!!!!! This is a real pro job you have done. Also, very nice music production page. Have you released any of your remixes? Is there sound samples I can listen to? Just by quality of this Fruity demo, I can only imagine the caliber of your remix work with all that hardware equipment you have in your studio.
