I'm getting this very strange behaviour in Cubase SX2, and wanted to see if someone could tell me why it's doing this.
Ok, in Cubase SX2, in your main sequencer window. Let's say you have drawn in a block in one of your channels (for example 4 bars long). Let's say that you have midi notes in the first 2 bars only, and the second two bars is empty.
When I go to RESIZE that block (by getting the mouse and grabbing the 'right' side of the block, and shortening it to 2 bars only), the midi notes in the block (in the first two bars) actually MOVE TO THE LEFT relative to where my mouse is. So when i move it to two bars long, the midi notes have DISAPPEARED to the left of the block.
This is strange, because the way it USED to work (and the way it works on other setups) is that the midi notes would STAY WHERE THEY ARE, and the block simply gets resized around them.
It's difficult to explain, I can show screen shots if that will help.
I'm sure it's only a simple setting that needs to be changed, but I don't know what it is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers,
EoN
