Since I don't think I had an answer when I posted this before....
Will Sampletank 2.1 respond to CC:11 (Expression)messages. Failing that can we have 2 independent volume knobs please so we can emulate it easily.
Since trying to get reasonably realistic strings \ brass \ woodwind at the moment is harder than it should be.

Exactly. I need this implemented also - well as soon as I figure out again out how to assign knobs (I always forget after a couple weeks of not doing it
). I do this sort of thing all the time in Kontakt with GPO though.
This leads me to ask again: Will there be any educational materials, tutorials with examples on how to use ST2 including some aspects of controlling parameters such as Rollasoc is asking? I am still only able to do the most basic operations - e.g. many operations such using zones and assigning controllers still require inordinate amounts of time to figure out. Many I believe would benefit from a flash tutorial type of seminar series on the intermediate-advanced use of ST2.

I don't know about the CC:11 issue, but you'll at least be able to send all 16 parts to their own mixer channel in your host. Then you can use CC:7 for expression, and use your host's mixer for mixing.

There will be some options for this in both ST2.1 and Philharmonik.
Assigning midi controllers is super easy. I'll do a little tutorial on it soon... among other things.

Hi,
Is there still a new soundset planned to go along with the 2.1 update? If so, does anyone know approximately how long after the update is ready would the sound content be?
Thanks,
Ian

It's coming. You can do what the original thread was asking. Also, it has syncable LFOs.
Plus a bunch of other cool stuff that wasn't even announced. It shouldn't be a free update. Maybe it will only be a free update for a limited time or something because it has so many new features plus the larger sound set.
I am not sure the exact date of release yet. But, I can tell you that it sounds AMAZING! The new Stretch is fantastic. I LOVE the new "harmonic preservation" knob. It adds a cool element of tweaking to get it just right. Also the two modes of note and phrase make a bit difference too. But, even the Resampling engine has been improved! It sounds REALLY REALLY good!
