Hello Folks !

Since it's getting more difficult to find hardware
with drivers for Windows98, I've finally decided to
move to WindowsXP in the near future.
Right now I'm doing some research...

Let me just say that I just  my CubaseVST32 and
would do almost anything to keep it.
I've found out that the 5.1r1-version provides XP support
so I'm interested in knowing how well CubaseVST runs
under WinXP.

Any thoughts and comments appreciated. :)

It runs absolutely fine :)

The only problem I have is running out of mixer channels, but that's not related to XP - just a limitation of that version of Cubase.

BTW - I'm actually running Cubase VST32 5.2 PB1 - Don't know if that makes a difference, but I think it's still downloadable from the Steinberg site...

Thanks ScarKord !

Good to know. :)
...and I usually use about 32 channels only so...

That 5.2pb1-version is totally unusable on my system.
It crashes upon start-up.
Latest stable version for me is v5.1r1.
But that's good enough.

Btw.
Nice site you've got there.
