Ok, So i'm thinking a sampler instrument, but using resampling and granular speed changing. by that i mean, you can resample to make a sound highr of lower,
and then make the overall speed half of the original using granular resynthesis.

Maybe it could also have a tempo synced loop start/end points to do some cool glitchy stuff, and maybe a few (maybe 4 or 8) different sample cells within the instrument.

for the pitch shifting, it would be cool to have a spring back function that finds the home pitch, and toggle between that bend mode and a fixed position mode.

throw in some MIDI CC implementation and it would be quite fun i think.

the main thing is that it has to be simple to use.

What do you think? Does it already exist?

i'm not a programmer, nor do i have any money, but i'd be willing to help some other way i guess.

Check out Iplongs 'Slifty' sampler players, I think you might be impressed. ;)

And/or to mention the 'competition' - Niall Moody's Buffer Synth2 is amazing in it's own right. :hihi:
