Yeah pquenin, I just received my copy of ST2XL yesterday from eSoundz, and after I registered it the download for Amplitube showed up in my user area at the IK site. The one thing you might want to check on is whether you need to register prior to May 1st to qualify or whether merely purchasing by that date is sufficient. The promo seemed a little ambiguous to me, so I took no chances and bought it in plenty of time to get it registered before May 1st.

Anyway, its' a pretty nice deal to say the least. I crossgraded from SS2, so I got ST2XL, plus the new soundset when it comes out, plus Amplitube (and the ability to upgrade to Amplitube 2), all for a little under $200 by the time some ePointz that I had laying around from the Combi Kits group buy were added in.

I'm glad I held off on buying ST2XL when Turnkey was blowing them out last year. With shipping across the pond it would have cost around the same, and I wouldn't have gotten Amplitube or the upgraded soundset thrown in for free.

Plus I'm inching ever closer to that coveted platinum status at eSoundz.

It's done by registration (not by our human intervention option). IK's system looks at when you register it. But, you can register it after May 1st. Don't wait too long after that date but you'll be able to qualify for this deal if you buy it before the end of April as the promo states.

Oh man,,, there isn't really anything on the site I need or don't have already. I was waiting for the ethnic soundz to get posted, and was planning on buying some of those. (we were told they would be up on Monday, and they aren't there yet) I have the Complete Capsules, and I don't need any more drum, bass or guitar expansion tank sounds right now. I have Sonik Synth, Omni Synth, and Piano Expansion tank, and that about covers what's available.

I was hoping to use those epointz towards Philharmonik, which is going to be my next big purchase, but that isn't ready yet, either. Philharmonik should put me into Platinum.

I didn't realize we couldn't accumulate more than $50 in epointz, I thought we were just limited to spending that amount on a purchase.

Squids, I'm curious what is going to happen when we are allowed to buy epointz. Will we be limited to $50 then? It seems I have had a lot of problems with the epointz system. First there was the no space issue, then there was no way to get the epointz for the Capsules group buy, and now this one,,,

Can't you allow the accumulation of as many epointz as we earn? It seems silly to spend them on things that I don't need, especially when so many exciting things are coming up that I really do want!

When we have more downloadable esoundz then it will be better for epointz collectors. We're working on it. I wanted to tweak those ethnic sounds a little bit before they go up there I decided. I'm picky sometimes.

The system doesn't allow more than $50 at a time before it is spent if received from referals. But, there is no limit on spending epointz if you have them. You can ALSO get additional epointz from doing reviews of the sounds too. If you buy epointz when that is offered it will go above and beyond any limits. You could buy as many as you want and you can get epointz value better than in dollars.

But, I think Rob has done a tremendous job with the epointz system and I think it works quite well. It may not be ideal for every situation. But, these are FREE credits when it comes to referals so you could buy anything, even something you might normally have bought. Some people even buy the T-Shirts too.

Anyway, I am sure you'll rack up another $50 in epointz by the time Philharmonik comes out HG.

Well, since I've been drooling over it for so long, I ordered the World Traveler disk, so I can get epointz again. I hate to be accused of hoarding epointz,, lol.
