I'm getting to be a bit maxed out on delays, but if a Golden Delay was in the works, I'd love to see one with modes for digital, tape, bucket brigade, oil can, spinning magnetic drum (like the Fender Soundette), and tube delay (like the Binson Echorec), with built-in reverb (with maybe spring, plate and freeverb models) on the delay lines, multiple distortion types (not just a tape saturation emulation), resonant low/band/high/notch filters and a frequency splitter. Throw in some cool modulation, some adjustable multi-taps, some pre-requisite stereo function and away we go.

It's pretty easy to come by simple echo/delays, but the ones that make the most elaborate and unique noises are the ones I turn to most often. Competing against Ohmboyz and Ronin isn't going to be easy, but the elegance of Kjaerhus's analog modelling and interface/signal path design would make for a great delay given enough variation on old themes.
