I think it was some mad IDS shite in the Brudenell Social Club. Utter toss, but quite entertaining as the laptop geek doing it was well mental. Oh, and there was some piss poor crusty dub bollocks on the same night. Apalling but they had a top bird singing.

Dave Holland Quintet, about 6 months ago. 5 songs, and just under a 2 hour set; now that's what I'm talking about!
It was a great show, although I still don't like the new drummer as much as the old one. It's always nice when a band plays a bunch of songs that you're familiar with (I've listened to Lost & Found no less than 100 times since I got the CD a couple years ago).

Brendan Benson, last week.
saw him play in Liverpool in Feb, met up afterwards, then "See you in Manchester John" - "OK, but only if you promise to play 'No Dial Tone'" - "Hmmm...might do, actually!"
Last song played in Manchester, "No Dial Tone"

*edit* was going to ask haydxn if he wanted to come along, but left it too late - thought he'd enjoy the powerpop thing

Band called 'Crooked Still' in Dublin last week. And the Levellers a couple of days before that. Next stop, the Rezillos...
An idiot on Set Theory:
