wierd FLS bug

I am using v5.0.2 with ASIO4ALL v2.6.
So I am using FL Keys with Fruity Reverb and Fruity Delay. When I rapidly manipulate any parameter in FL Keys, I hear a very harsh and *continuous* noise which gradually dies (and the sound returns to normal) after some time. That time required to return to normal varies... sometimes it happens within 10 seconds, sometimes in as much as 45-odd seconds.
During this time, the spectrometers (the main one on top and spectroman) and the db meters are off the scale.
I wish I could attach a screenie or the flp here.

Weird! I don't use Asio4All anymore since I've gotten an EMU0404, but I never had problems like that... I was running FL Studio 4.5x at the time.
Have you tried upping the latency?
Of course, a solution is *not* to rapidly manipulare the parameters in FL Keys, or stop using it altogether (not *that* hot is it?).

sounds like some kind of noise feedback looping, perhaps cutting back on the feedback in the delay or the decay in reeverb might help...rbet wrote:I am using v5.0.2 with ASIO4ALL v2.6.

well, I tried it with my default AC97 driver and the same thing happens... so I guess it is not a driver/latency issue.

hmm... strangely, I am not able to replicate this after saving to flp. But try this:
1. Start a new project
2. Add FL Keys
3. Add reverb and delay in FX... make sure reverb has long tail
4. Rapidly manipulate the hardness knob or the velocity knob... I mean real wild and random... maybe you'll see what I'm talking about.
Thanks anyway.

no offense but I'll take your word for it....just a tad atypical imo...rbet wrote:hmm... strangely, I am not able to replicate this after saving to flp. But try this:

Sure, no problem; IMO this is just a minor bug. The important thing is this is not replicated on 'normal playback' (after automation etc. and no knob is manually moved) and at render/export.

wimpy arcade house or flat insipid tech? Barcode think he´s breakin ground when those german clickers from Onitor, Traum, Kompakt, Ware, etc, have been doing the same thing for years... and boy they do it so much better!

I cannot duplicate it. Heres what I did:
1) insert fruity keys
2) insert reverb, set length to "max"
3) insert delay
4) insert fruity formula controller to the randomness preset
5) link the vel and hardness to the controller
the contoller is moving the knobs faster than I could ever do with the mouse, I have no buzzing or other weirdness here.

OK, I know this is weird, but um, move the knob/s yourself. I am sure you'll see it.

OK, I did that, and it just didnt happen
that is why I assigned the controller to it, my arm got tired...
