Using third party vocoders in FL studio?

Does anybody know how to set up third party vocoders in FL studio? Or just a good FL studio tips site ?

Umm, like you would in any other host I guess? What vocoder are you using and what's the problem? FL handles plugins like any other host so you should probably be asking how to set up your vocoder instead...
Or if you have problems in FL, take in on Looptalk or the Tech support forums!

Interesting... but umm, not really anything to do with his question? He asked about using third party vocoders in FL Studio, not using FL Studios vocoder in other hosts

I think it may depend on the vocoder itself. For example, some vocoders want the carrier signal to come in on the left channel and the modulator signal to come in on the right (for example).
To use this in FL, put the vocoder on an FX strip (say Strip 1 for instance). Route both sound sources (carrier and modulator) to Strip 1. Pan the carrier to the extreme left and the modulator to the extreme right and there you have it. This is similar to how the FL Vocoder works if you don't have Producer edition and can't route the individual strips to a third strip.
Does this make any sense or have I misunderstood the question completely?

whats wrong with the fruity vocoder? I think it's very nice...
