i could make parts (and instances) of automation snippets.
the host would offer me some kind of task manager to monitor which plug-in eats up most of my cpu power.
the freeze function would offer a "freeze hogs first!" option.
the host would recognize the special transport buttons of my keyboard even if the transport bar was not visible...*cough*
