ok I'm gonna buy a hardware synth and I have a couple of questions, it's just that i like to know things in advance.

I open an instance of Midi Out plugin in FL Studio and direct it to the hardware synth; then i redirect the sound from the synth into the soundcard and record it as audio in FL. Ok, that's the way?

now, 2 questions:

1. are there latency problems then?
2. can I apply soft effects in the mixer channel where I direct the audio coming from the synth with no problems?

thanks

1. There will be latency, whatever value you get from your soundcard drivers plus more from MIDI but you can compensate by moving the audio in the Playlist [or however you do it in Fruity] once its recorded.

2. Unless Fruity is a lot worse than I think it is, you should be able to apply effects.

yeah yeah I understand. I guess I sometimes ask very obvious things, but it's just that i like to ask and have everything clear before doing things (aka buying)

you can do all that no probs.i have fl5.2 and im a bit pissed because you cant sync old analog gear as limited midi.lucky i had making waves 5.8 and that sync,s my stuff.i ment to say it doesnt have midi clock out yet, only midi out.
