Fecking spectacular - I think I enjoyed it more than the gf, but it might have had something to do with the pills.
Or the antipodean sex goddess that is Kylie strutting around in sweet FA clothing
Yeah, that helped too!

Big name? The Eagles, somewhere in the 90's. Was nice, but not worth the $92.00 entry fee by a long shot; turned me off big name concert since that time. I still go to local clubs (my favorite is Bistro a JoJo) from time to time to listen to local band, I enjoy that way much more.

BASTARD!!! f**king BASTARD!!!

Last band I saw was NOVAkILL last Sunday. Man, they were f**king awesome! Before that would have been Angelspit and Angel Theory [no relation] and the mighty KMFDM before that. In the last year I have seen more bands that I did in the previous 5 years combined. I can't honestly say that I enjoyed too many of them but at least I've been getting off my arse and going to see them. Wave-Gotik Treffen will put the number right through the f**king roof.
NOVAkILL : Legion GO, AMD Z1x, 16GB RAM, Win11 | Audient EVO 8 | Lumi Keys | Studio Pro 8
Korg Odyssey, bx-oberhausen, Proxima, PolyMax, GR8, JP6K, Union, Atomika,
Invader 2, Flow Motion, Olga, TRK 01, Thorn, Spire, VG Iron

Friday and Saturday hung out at a local musical gathering in good weather, at a very comfortable venue within biking range, and the moon made a nice appearance from behind some distant storm clouds in the early evening Saturday

Massive Attack, whenever their last world tour was (2003 I think?) Before that was Tool in late 2002. I don't think I saw any live bands in 2004 (there may have been shite pub cover bands in there somewhere, but they don't count) but I'm off to see Tori Amos in Sydney on May 14. Then it will be back to my ordinary shut-in existence.

I wonder who's touring Australia in 2006?

OK, I confess the last band I saw was Yellowcard. I've just about recovered my hearing. Every 20 minutes the sound man came to the front to pull the speakers back up to the edge of the stage. Oh, and I went a couple weeks ago to a fundraiser for a friend with cancer, the bands were Titus Kinimaka (everyone on the island is literally afraid to see this guy in the water; he's a local Hawaiian surf legend--if you get in his way on a wave you very much can end up in ICU) and Hapa, a great Hawaiian duo featuring a Hawaiian and a white guy from New York (thus "Hapa" which means "half"). Raised $22,000 USD, btw.
