an annoying hack as well... delay compensation could be switchable, and awesome to have in FL. i mean, FL just does EVERYTHING ...nibbzious wrote:Voxengo Sample Delay

A cheap hack, but meh. Since you're using FL you can just route all your tracks into one bus, put the delay on that, then have the Virus go to another bus, then finally send these two to the master.
I think.

The low latency is probably meant as the audio interface abilities of the synth..
I'm guessing the actual synth will have no latency..
that is to say.. I'm guessing the synth itself will have a delay but will be able to sense and correct for this latency?
though its only a guess.. no extra knowledge or facts behind this..

I purchased Virus powercore and I've been getting trouble with PDC problem. The Plug-in delay compensator included in Powercore SW package didn't help me out actually. I've been using Orion Platinum though. I was told that PDC feature will be available in the upcoming Orion Platinum version 6.0 and I'm wating for it with a hope.
Viper, Nordlead 2X, Moog Little Phatty Stage II, Synapse Orion Platinum

That talk about delay, wet and feedback before made me nervous, certainly DON'T use an ordinary delay!
I myself use SampleSlide from AnalogX http://www.analogx.com/
