Very confused trying to use DS404 in conjunction with Computer Muzys.
I'm trying to save some audio slots in Muzys by sending more than one part to DS404.
I've tried making a keymap and sending different notes to trigger different samples (like I would in SR202- which I do understand), but that doesn't seem to work the way I've set it up.
I've also tried using different sequencer parts to trigger samples in DS404, but I can't see how Muzys can tell DS404 which sample to talk to from which part (is it something to do with Midi channels?- if so, how do I write them into my Muzys sequences- with midi control changes?).

Tried reading the manual.
Some of my confusion may come from never having owned a proper sampler, and from not having used Midi for a long time. :?

Any advice? :)

Unfortunately the first version of CMuzys that was released didn't allow you to use multi-timbral VST instruments properly. You need the 1.1 update, Red?

Assuming a correctly configured sequencer, just load each of the patches you want into seperate patch slots in DS404. Then, assign each patch to a seperate timbre. Set the MIDI channels for each timbre, and send each part on a seperate MIDI channel. Job done - and if you need more detail, the manual is there to help.

Thanks for that. :) I've now played around with DS404 in my other sequencer and have got to grips with it, I hope.
Have to wait a week before upgrading my Muzys so I can use it properly. :(
