I don't mean to hijack the thread, but...

Is it possible to replace the standard DLS file in Windows XP with a better one for more realistic Midi playback from Windows Media Player? In other words, could you take a big GM soundfont, convert it to DLS, and relace the standard gm.dls with the updated one?
