Was that the one they did in leeds? (noticed the LS postcode), if so that was probably the one I missed.

Gigs I wished I had seen:
My Bloody Valentine
Slint (missed them at ATP)
Joy Division
Husker Du
Suzanne Vega - I'm destined never to see her - waaaaah!
Hopefully going to the see The Necks next month in Gateshead - if not, another band
Oh, and of course, Miles Davis, 'Trane, Billy Holliday, The Rotary Connection, Aretha Franklin in the 1960s...

I actually managed to catch them, they were supporting someone else - can't even remember who & totally blew them out.whyterabbyt wrote:Three times in a row I discovered Skunk Anansie were playing in Glasgow; only to realise it had already happened in the previous week.

Frank Zappa died when I was 10 years old, not that I had any idea who he was at the time. Never seeing a Zappa concert will haunt me until the day I die.

A friend of mine asked me to go see Dylan's Rollin' Thunder Review (the first version). I said no - to my regret. I thought he was washed up.

Anything with the Beatles.
And Jean Michel Jarre; Live in Houston (was it 1986?) ahhh, Elka Synthex, triggered by lazers, can it be cooler than that?
Some early Yazoo gig.
