Hopefully going to the see The Necks next month in Gateshead - if not, another band

Oh, and of course, Miles Davis, 'Trane, Billy Holliday, The Rotary Connection, Aretha Franklin in the 1960s...

It was probably the same tour but was at the Mayfair (RIP) in Newcastle

@Rabbyt - saw Skunk Anasie on the first NME bratbus tour - had the pleasure of standing next to Skin during the set of the 60ft Dolls

Frank Zappa died when I was 10 years old, not that I had any idea who he was at the time. Never seeing a Zappa concert will haunt me until the day I die.

A friend of mine asked me to go see Dylan's Rollin' Thunder Review (the first version). I said no - to my regret. I thought he was washed up.
