Speaking of music in SUV adverts, is anyone else as pissed as I am when they see that ad for the new Land Rover? It's bad enough that they have to go and ruin a classic song by The Sonics (there will probably be a generation of retarded inbred redneck children who will only know that song from a f**king CAR ad now
dumb little f**kers'll think someone wrote it for the goddamn advert
) but if you listen carefully, when they cut the song up to fit in the commercial THEY ACTUALLY SPLICE THE f**ker IN THE MIDDLE OF TWO DIFFERENT GODDAMN WORDS

They cut off Gerry in the middle of the word love and then splice on the end of the word travel just so it will fit in their f**king time slot, and they think people wont notice this?? LOV-EL IS NOT A f**king WORD, YOU c**ts!
Sorry, had to get that out of my system.
/rabid Sonics fan.
//also pissed to here people using The Monks in a f**king bottled water commercial

Most of the GM brand websites actually will tell you who the artists are on their TV spots.
There's a recent Pontiac ad that has a a couple different tracks.
I kind of liked the lo-fi garage band sound of one of them and didn't have to google at all. Clubfoot by Kasabian (I now know that many people don't like this song - but to each his own).
Visit the Hummer website and it gives all necessary info on the bands and songs on their TV spots.
You can even buy the music through the Hummer site.
