Hi to all.
I'm new to this forum, and relatively new to FL Studio and VST instruments.
So far, I've been happy playing and recording with my typing keyboard.
My problem is that some VST instruments seem to have some kind of "keyboard interface" so whenever I click on its GUI or tweak some knobs, my typing keyboard gets disabled for playing, and the only way to solve this seems to focus FL main window again by left-clicking on it. This is very annoying to me, cause I can't even preview presets or change some VSTI settings while playing.
Someone know how to solve this?
Thanks in advance.

PS: Sorry for my english and I hope I was clear enough. :)

This annoys me too - I know z3ta+ in particular does this.

I know no solution unfortunately.

There's a work-around for this one. Just be sure to highlight the instrument 'button' in the step sequencer rather than the VST GUI before you hit any keys. It doesn't help much if you're tweaking parameters though.

The other thing you can do is 'proxy' the plug-in using a MIDI-Out generator routed through your desired plug-in.

Analogue or digital – which is better? There's only one way to find out... FI-I-IGHT!!!

Why not simple buy a cheap ass midi keyboard? Any cheap piece of junk is like a new dimension compared to your computer keyboard after all...

Thanks to all. :)
So far, there seems to be no solution to this but clicking the sequencer before playing or buying a cheap controller.
Please dazzer, If you can check that out in Reason maybe it's also useful in FL.

Hitting the 'tab' key switches to the next window in FLS. I find that useful at times.
