Hello all,

I'm turning to this forum because IK Multimedia tech support has never heard of the Amplitube problem I'm having.

Basically, when I play back a song that has a track (wav file) with the Amplitube plug-in applied, I get an audible click that occurs just before the track (with the Amplitube plug-in) starts. Note that this click does not happen if I open the song and play the track for the first time; it only occurs the second time (and each time thereafter) that I play the song. So basically, my workaround for mixdown of this type of track is to open the song fresh, then go straight to mixdown. However, I would really like to understand what is wrong and why the song clicks.

I had this problem when using Amplitube in Logic 5.5.1 (Win2k), and I now have the same exact problem on Logic 7.0.1 (Mac OSX 10.3.9). On the windows machine, I used a Delta 66 (M-audio). Now, on the Mac, I'm using a Presonus Firepod.

Is anyone else running into a similar problem? Any Logic users using Amplitube with no problems? It's strange to me that I'm getting the same exact problem
on the PC and Mac.

Thanks,
Mike

phoenix224: Hey, were you able to run the tests I asked you to so we could find a set of variables to try to duplicate? I haven't heard from you about it so if you can please try it and get back to me.

Really, though - I just wanted to see if anyone has the same problem. I guess not...
