Sampling Plug Ins

I have a synth on my PC that I want to use in projects on my Mac, but the plugin is PC only. So I want to sample some of the patches I've made with the synth and take those samples and map them out in Machfive on my Mac just like you would with any instrument in a sampler. What is the best way to do this? Play each note as a song and make a wav file out of it and cut it all up and throw them in a folder? Is there a better process of doing this?

I think what you are looking for is Chainer http://www.xlutop.com/html/chainer.html. If you use the standalone version it will export right across the keyboard as SF2 or WAV files.

Ok, I got Chainer and I figured out how to work it, but is there anyway to do it with effects on the plug in? The effects Im using on the patches are a big part of what makes the sound the way it is and I cant load them up again on my Mac cos theyre pc only, so i need to process these samples with the effects loaded.
