I would like to make chords with the mini keboard in ST2 and have them recorded in Live 4 or P5 or AP5.
I have tried everything, does it just not do this?

I don't think so. My understanding is that the chords and the keyboard at the bottom of ST2 are just for previewing. How about playing the chords on a midi controller keyboard?

Yeah, it doesn't do it through midi. That would be a nice extra if it did. I think there are other midi plug-ins that can do things like that though. This would be the site to ask!

You need "Bome's Mouse Keyboard". The link I have no longer works but you can do Google search.

If you download it and like it, give the guy some money!

I like that one can enter in one's own chords and click away. Sometimes thats all you want to do and don't need to fire up your big controller keyboard.

It does single notes as well...

You can also get Energy XT and load Sampletank 2 in it in conjunction with Energy XT's Chord module. It works wonders. Select a chord in the Energy XT Chord module, hit one note in Sampletank 2... and the chord will play ( and all notes will be highlighted in the St2 keyboard )..
