URS BLT = worth $49?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried this little plug-in. It's half-price for the entire month of May, and although I can't try any of their plugs, they seem to ooze of quality.
It's obviously a quick+dirty sweetener, but a 'pro' algorithm EQ-plug for $49 is pretty enticing. I do like to have something like this handy to nocth up sagging frequencies on drums, bass, etc.

I just tried the demo. It sounds pretty cool . Allthough I am not quite sure if I buy it because they release the Fultec maybe soon, which seems to have the same algos with much more flexability.
But the sound is pretty close to uad's Pultec, imho it sounds better.
I already purchased the URS A EQ and I am very happy with it.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking it might be worth it, just to get exposed to these "best-kept-secret"-type plugins; I definitely cannot throw down $250 USD for the other plugins that I can't even try out, so this great deal seems like an opportunity...mind you, I still have to pay up $40 for the iLok...crap...oh well, got a month to figure it out. So many good deals going on now! Urgh.

If you buy the BLT, you can still upgrade to the Fulltec (which is the full version indeed), so you don't lose any money. Actually, AFAIK, the BLT comes with the Fulltec anyway, so the only difference will be that you'll get the BLT earlier, as I did.
BTW, I like the sound of this one better than the UAD's Pultec as well. I don't know which one is more faithful to the original hardware, though, since I've never used it. Not that I care...

That plug looks pretty weak. Maybe it sounds great but it's feature set doesn't sound to be worth more than 5 bucks, let alone 99.
They might as well release a plugin that has NO controls on it and it claim it makes your mix sound ten times better. It could be called "Platinum"... Like your album will be when you use "this" effect.

I should hope an plug in expensive plug would have a little more up its sleeve than a good feature list! The URS stuff is fantastic, and not bad price wise when compared to other high end plugs. The Classic Console plugs are f**king brilliant, so i have no reason to expect any different from this new offering.

this thing is so betabugensish I simply had to buy it.... and I'm blown away.... this thing sounds very nice and in combination with the W1 (the skinned version *gg*) it's a perfect match for quick mastering....
love the sounds, love the graphics, love the simplicity.... a perfect 10 for me
worth the money in my book
