I'm trying to record audio (from a microphone), into Logic at 24 bit. I click the "20/24 bit recording" box in the audio drivers menu, but it doesn't seem to make a difference; the recording are all done at 16 bit.
Can anyone tell me how you record at 24 bit in Logic? Thanks.
How do you record at 24bit in Logic?

Not a Logic user, sorry, but in most hosts (that I've seen at least) you set a master Bit Depth and Samplerate for the project... maybe you have your project defaulting to 16/44 or similar?

and what audio card are you using? does it have a mixer? project bit rate doesn't always determine audio card bit rate and depending on the drivers may or may not report the correct information to the card
Antec P-case, Asus motherboard, AMD Phenom, 16gbRAM, 4 Hard drives, Windows 7 Ultimate, MOTU 828mkIII, Komplete 8, Maschine, Reason 6, Cubase 6, Blue Sky monitors(and a powerbook).
