It may not be dynamic convolution but it is certainly not just convolution. If it were you'd be able to get the same results with a dirac/sine/sweep played back in SIR or whatever which you most certainly can't(Iv'e tried).Every impulse Iv'e ever heard besides reverb sounds like out of phase crap and nothing like Q-Clone's results, not even close.I'm not saying I know what's behind this plug but I know what obviously isn't.bmanic wrote:cYrus wrote: Q-clone is NOT a DYNAMIC convolution plugin.. just convolution.

who said it has to be "realistic"?bmanic wrote:I really don't see the point in using dynamic convolution for reverb.. could you explain why this would be desired? It could work as an interesting 'special effect' but doesn't really help in making it more realistic, or?![]()

Nobody did.. that's my question. Was the intetion to make something synthetic/artifical, if so, how does it work? What's the idea behind it..?intel wrote:who said it has to be "realistic"?bmanic wrote:I really don't see the point in using dynamic convolution for reverb.. could you explain why this would be desired? That is what Im trying to figure out... so far it sounds more 3D/real then "just single convolution" or vst reverb. But I have stumbled on some hard rocks and I dont know if its me or just the idea thats fighting back. I keep you posted when I get home and have the time to tweak it some more.bmanic wrote:I really don't see the point in using dynamic convolution for reverb.. could you explain why this would be desired?
