mda detune : it always seems to sound sifferent than just a simple detune. You could eq a little more bass into a sound to help fill out the sound. Layering synths helps, too (esp. w/ detune). For pads and quick hits/stabs, you can make the sound but then make two more copies: one panned further left, one further right: sometimes a "fuller" stereo field can help, but this sis dangerous as it crowds out other sounds.
..what goes around comes around..

Using a very short (unnoticable) delay, or a very short reverb; using the synth sound twice, panned differently and EQ'd a bit different; layering the synth with other synth sounds;

Yep! They are good effects used in small amounts.kmonkey wrote:anything that could bring more life in sound???
Another is to stack the synths, say two or more with the same preset (or close - experiment), so they both play the same notes, you could even have one at a higher octave than the other – or use synths with cords rather than mono notes.

Can someone write some tricks about delay settings, reverb etc...anything that could bring more life in sound???
Try using a decent vsti like Z3ta+ or Minimonsta - Its better to use the right tool in the first place. If thoses arnt fat enough then god knows

also have atleast one of the oscs as a pulsewave, then modulate the pulse width with a fast LFO
also maybe modulating the pitch with a fast LFO
and a subosc never hurts
but i would recommend experimenting instead of using these tired old tricks!

If you want a really hardcore synth bass, use a saw wave put some stereo phaser with a slow rate and put some overdrive (with a stereo signal path if possible)afterward. This is what I call a fat sound.
