I made a CD of music. I put it on. I was in the car. I was mad. My music didn't work. Lots of low frequencies were inaudible. Why? Do cars engines drown out certain sounds. Is it my speakers at home? frequencies that were very present at home are way in back. maybe it is the stereo in my mom's hundai. damnit. I don't know what I'm talking about.

unfortunately the sound in a car almost completely depends on the system in the car, any modifications, and the construction of the caritself. Don't know the year of the hyundai (or their systems very well) but probably there was no low frequencies becasue the speakers are underpowered, and a 4x6 or 5" round is probably the largest speaker; not quite enough for clear bass, especially if they are compound speakers.

Shoot you need to take yer ride to West coast customs and let them put 30 grand worth of accessories into a 500 dollar vehicle... I bet it will have copious quantities of low frequencies then...
