The included instruments alone are worth Twice the price you pay.

Oh and the MIDI manipulation capabilities are just the best.

Midi groove clips=Midi clips that act like acid audio clips. I can change the entire key of the track just by changing one little tab.

.cal routines=The 'split notes to tracks' function means that I can create beats in one clip, then split that clip into separate midi clips, each with their own track. Fun to use on orchestral peices since I can record each note with a different set of reverbs-and get a more realistic, or more completely experimental mix. I also like to use the '7th chord' 'Major chord' 'Minor chord' routines since I really suck at playing chords piano-style.

it's only 15-35% better now.
