Just curious what the smallest laptop someone can successfully run as a DAW.

wouldn't recommend a lap for a daw.. with a desktop et c. you can stow the box somewhere to cut the fan noise. can't do that with a lap
sorry to be all grouchy i guess but it's a silly question to be asking other people.. eg. with 90mHz processors people are running a bit of multitracking in cooledit.
but the fan thing

you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

Na, I'm just bored waiting for a client to call, just passing time. I have a tiny Acid-like app on my cell phone. Just wondering how small you could get an 8 track audio/midi studio. Also what would be the smallest midi controller you could get that would also me musically useful?

I wouldn't get a laptop smaller than about 6 inches wide, it's too hard to type otherwise
