nope not new material but a box set of all the singles and bsides :)
also includes a dvd with promos and a few live tv appearances, the live stuff got me thinkin about how glad i was id seen em in their prime :D
but also a pang of hurt as it will never be the same again now.
since i first heard them way back, they have been firm favourites of mine, not a duff track yet :)

ah well definitely worth lookin out for if you missed the singles first time round but the dvd is also pretty cool, and its only the price of a cd album for 3 cds and a dvd packed with pop goodness :)

Amazingly, I was just listening to the 'Emperor Tomato Ketchup' album in my car [i adore 'Monstre Sacre']. It's been a while since I last heard my Stereolab CDs but I realised that I love them as much as I used to. :D :D

I've read some reviews of that release, haven't got many EPs of theirs so I'll probably go and get it. :D :D

Another top buy is the Talking Heads - Once in A Lifetime triple-CD and DVD boxset. I got it recently and was blown away.

Oh and I do not mean to hijack your thread John, but I was listening to XTC's Black Sea last night and isn't Travels In Nihilon one of the most mind-blowing songs ever??

I picked up Oscillons, great compilation (especially for us here in the states who didn't get most of this stuff released domestically), cool packaging (stickers rule!), and amazing price. $23 bucks for three CDs and a DVD is just unbeatable. I just want to thank all the youngsters who download pirated music, as they've forced the record companies to offer us more bang for the buck on new releases.

Emperor Tomato Ketchup is one of my all time fav's, but I don't own much in the way of Stereolab aside from that, this, Margarine Eclipse, and Transient Noise Bursts, any recomendations of what else I need for the cool Emperor Tomato Ketchup-y stuff?
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Get Sound-Dust, you won't regret it - much more 'organic' than their earlier albums but still really cool. :D :D
