Just bought this yesterday:

and by god it sounds beautiful. Very musical - breathtaking filters (modelled on the SSM model not Curtis), been playing it all afternoon - bliss

Not really an object though. Maybe "A collection of routines of beauty" of "A concept or beauty" would have been more apt?

yeah the creamware synths are tasty. i have the pro-one myself and love it. use it in every song

I think the gui is so good too - especially compared to the cramped tiny Pro53. It manages to be well laid out and clear and although it has the look of the hardware original also has more modern flat elements that make it look really classy. And like several other Creamware synths the knob action is great - they manage to feel "weighty" somehow (though not quite as good as OhmForce knobs perhaps with their built in intertia) and I love how you can just mouse over a knob and use the mousewheel to fine tune it.
