The reverb market is over saturated. Not to cause a riot or anything, but I still use SIR (its free).
We need more quality eq's that can compete with Hydratone and URS. And if its under $100, your profits will go through the roof.

at Alex:
well, fine, just don't come crying when members turn the backs at ArtsAcustic becuase of the to obvious marketing. Also wouldn't surprise me if a VERY positive review were to be found of the plug-in at kvr database very soon.
sheesh...
anyways,
Good luck! hopefully your products will get popular

if so, it will not be one of ArtsAcoustic who wrote it.snooky wrote:at Alex:

there are users that just like it, even if this might not be understandable for you.
well, we hope that, of course.snooky wrote:anyways,

yeah, I'm done, I just want to add one more thing, I do understand that users will like your reverb, it does sound good, really, I never said it didn't. I just wanted to have my say on some companies marketing, and hopefully now, ArtsAcustic won't be another company on the "blacklist".

ok, i can agree with that. our intension was never to overkill with marketing. we just did the usual 3 anouncements here. of course, now, that there are a lot of new things going on in terms of vst, i also can see that there are a lot of threads going on.snooky wrote:yeah, I'm done, I just want to add one more thing, I do understand that users will like your reverb, it does sound good, really, I never said it didn't. so i can see your point.
but we were not responsable for the huge amount of interests in reverb generally.
it just happened.

Geeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Will someone give this company a break ???
I'm tired of seeing people attack those developers.
A New Company
A New Product
No History ( as much as I know of )
I Wish them best of luck.

I for one think their reverb is fantastic. I have zero problem with what they are asking for it. I have full intention of purchasing it. [although my wife is not thrilled with the idea, and kindly vetoed my request
] I own my own company and I am 'new' to our market. I charge more than most for my services. Some people choose other companies...so what, it's a big world.
Nick, you will do fine. It all comes down to the product, and you have that in the bag. There is no need for you to defend yourself, let your product speak for you.

Ok, Obviously...that's a bit of shameless...Or should i say shameful, self-promotion. However, we're all guilty of doing some stoopid shit here on this board from time to time. So i suppose I can let this slide. In defense of the reverb. I HAVE tried the demo, and was more than impressed. I'm really torn between this one and the new R66 as far as VST reverb units go...They are both fantastic...I've never heard anything like them when it comes to a vst synthetic reverb. Hmmm...decisions, decisions.
peace!
peace!

Shit, is it XP only!? that would suck. well, it would probably swade me over to R66, as that will work fine on my 2000 system. Waiting for a reply before i make any harsh judgments though. ; )nBeat wrote:Well, I for one have no problem with that.nick at artsacoustic wrote: we just did the usual 3 anouncements here.
However, despite the impressive mp3 demos I'll have to
wait with the demo until I have WinXP later this year
(using Win98 now).
Ah well...
peace!

please download the demoversion and try.
there is a fair chance that it works on win2000,
as the system is very close to win xp.
we didn`t have the chance to test it on win2000,
therefore we unfortunately cannot officially support it.
however, if the demoversion works, the full version will do, too.
oh, and, would you mind dropping a note on our official ArtsAcoustic forum if it works or not?
that would be very kind.
thanks in advance.
@nbeat:
sorry,
we don`t support win98 any more.
it`s too old, too many coding differences,
and the hosts that we support on win xp
are too old/not updated anymore on win98.
it`s indeed a good idea to switch to xp as you stated. we made the experiance that it is very stable,
and most plugins that don`t run under win98 (if thy were out for win98 anyway)
should work work just fine in win xp.
and please don`t be too harsh on us
