can i just agree with verstaerker - but i'm talking about the powercore - the good plugs (and they arent just reverbs) are better than any native equivalent
I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

hi verstärker,
I would like to believe you, but I cannot test it, and I am not willing to spend money for plugins without being able to test it. I also don't like the concept that you need hardware. what is more, uad is just modelling classic analog equipment, whereas voxengo is really doing innovative stuff. glisseq has a brilliant sound and, if you want, you can use its transient detection feature and thus it becomes a dynamic EQ. Soniformer is such a flexible and complex compressor tool and you have so many bands, but it takes time to understand it. roomverb of spin audio is really great and can model almost any sound. actually, I don't miss anything. but maybe you do one thing: post dry and wet samples (with your favourite settings) of the uad plugs so that one can listen to what you are talking about. the uad site is not very instructive.
best, akj

Sounds interesting! I'm eager to hear the results!away from home wrote:the example is only dynamic in the amplitude domain, my new version has a multiband splitter (3+) and then routed into level separation on each band.bmanic wrote: Could you explain a bit in what way it is 'dynamic' ? does it play trough samples of different room colour or length depending on input volume?
BUT, that means I have to get two new computers and FXteleport to run the extra 10+ reverb impulses on
I hope the effort will make it sound better
EDIT: in all my selfpromoting scribbles I forgot to asnwer the question. Yes, different levels are routed into different reverbs.
Cheers!
