Weird questions!

Two questions here:

1. Why do majority of people glorify vocalists, and not care much about musicians, ie. people doing only music will not make much money now adays but vocalists do!

2. Why do we rarely find female musicians? I mean even if there are many, still can't be compared to the numbers of males who make successful music. I'm just wondering by the way and not discussing who is more tallented men or women.

funnily enough, I was just wandering off to get my lunch and wondered - why are there so many more male nutters wandering around town centres than females? Either they lock the females up, or there are just more men nutters than women. I cite KVR as proof.

1 - cos it's more glamourous. djs get more credit than producers half the time, cos it 'looks cooler'.

2 - that's an interesting one, i have wondered that also. lots of chick singers and instrument players, but hardly any that actually write music. it's strange. maybe some evolution thing. to alleviate boredom when hunting yaks maybe the men started making musical grunts or somethin heh

I think men have more of a existentialist urge to create... we don't lay eggs you see...

Female vocalists have an advantage on the market place though as most music fanatics are men.
