Well, I'll be following the development of your reverb closely in the meantime.
sorry, saw this only now.
i forgot to mention that you shpuld try the demo on win98, as there is a chance that it works.
however, there`s a chance of a little higher cpu consumption on win98.
at least you can check it out then.
could you please let me know if it works or not?
thanks in advance,
Kind regards, Nick at ArtsAcoustic

Demo failed here on my 98SE machine in Tracktion 1. *sigh* Yet another reason give up my old, dusty DOS GUI.
perception: the stuff reality is made of.

Hmmmm... I have to be honest, another reverb that is ridiculously overpriced. It looks gorgeous, has more features than Ambience for example, but really, is that worth paying 189Euros for? I honestly don't think it can compete with Ambience and Classic Reverb. Not because it sounds any worse, on the contrary, it is more than equal. I just don't think it brings anything new to the table.

Sure, its pretty, and you can customize to an extent, but in all honesty.. the resulting sounds sound just like that of Ambience.

I think it's worth the money..from the demo. sounds very close to some of my hardware at the studio. it's not an H3000...but i think it comes as close as the digital world can at this point in time

Don't get me wrong. I think its worth SOME money. But 189 Euros? I think thats way too much. That works out to 128 GBP - Shit man, Absynth only costed me around that much, and it too has capable reverb effects.

I'd willingly pay 80GBP for it, and I suspect there would be a lot more interest too if the price were lower.

Meh.. maybe its a taste thing. I liked the massive amounts of time you could have on the reverb, being an avant garde composer, I can see it being very useful. I'm not willing to pay that much for it though, sorry.

I'll stick to abusing Absynth 3 :)

hehe .. yes, absynth is great, indeed.
of course, it`s allways a matter of taste, reverb more than other effects IOO.
it depends on how heavy one wheights the sound of a good reverb, though. there are a lot of users that hear important differences in our reverb compared to other native reverbs.

Nope nick...no problems at all on 2000...with service pack 4. Anyway, I like this coz when i'm using a revberb...it's for a natrual acoustic space and ambience...not an avant garde type of ambience where you have a long cavernous hall type of verb...most will achieve that. It's a warm realistic space that i'm after...and this seems to do the trick. I'm gonna play with it a bit more... still comparing to that R66...but you might have a customer here. ; )

peace!

 thats a cool sounding reverb!
...i especially like possibility to have a very long pre-delay / decay
