Here is the new Futurehaus studio design. I have busted my tail figuring out how to make this work. There is one new desk, and the old one is now opposite it. The new one is strictly for music and graphics and the CPU is tucked away in the lower left-hand cabinet. The old desk is for the laptop and various writing tasks and eventually the printer and scanner. Hopefully I'll be disciplined enough to maintain the level of organization you see here.
One cool idea you might want to nick for yourself is the woven basket thingies. You can coil your midi and guitar cables up nicely and hide them away without too much fuss. As long as you put some velcro around each cable, it's fairly easy to fish them out of the baskets ("it places the cable in the basket" lol)
