Is there something like this available? Would the Minihost in combination with a virtual midi port work or are there better solutions?

When I need this solution, I use Midi Yoke

When Bome's Mouse Keyboard is the top screen, you can use your computer keyboard as you would a normal controller keyboard.
I have read that Trollo allows the same thing but I have never gotten it to work for me although many have so might be worth a look
