lol! yes, it sure is. The window stuff came from Target, too. I would go to Target even if I didn't want to buy anything because it seems like every time I am there, all the top-shelf chicks are milling around.

Had to buy the bamboo thing because Frodo (my dog) seems compelled to piss on carpets and rugs of any kind. I think they remind him of grass and he just can't help himself. But on harder surfaces, he's a stead-fast non-offender.

I can't upload pictures from my camera right now. I'm having some crazy driver problem.

Don't get your hopes up though. My "studio" is a bed, speakers, Dj equipment, computer, and a shitty circuit-bent casio

Does having your CPU in that open-faced enclosure amplify or quieten it? I've got mine in the same spot except there's a cabinet door and it's really quiet now. The only thing is when a CD-ROM is spinning up it rumbles pretty hard, but that only lasts a few seconds.

That's not my DAW, the shiny acrylic thing on my desk with the picture of an apple on it is.

My computers are pretty quiet, but my room is not a very quiet place. Three walls face the outside and the neighborhood is pretty noisy(little kids all over the place

).

I don't really do any professional recordings, but i can do pretty good vocal tracks if I stand in the closet.

I built the desk myself BTW.
