Should I go to an engineering school or should I attempt to climb my way to the top and just get a low level job at some studio somewhere? Or both? I might be moving to Brooklyn NY sometime soon, anyone know what oppurtunities Ill have when I get there? This is a big choice for me and Im not expecting anyone to tell me what to do with my life, but I just want to discuss it in some way that will help me decide.

Why not go to engineering school and see if there's a major in acoustics/studio design...best of both worlds
