Yeh thats the point ,
ten years later these guys were a social nightmare and in walks Mr Springsteen , as far as I can remember from the documentary he donated everything he earned from one single(might have been born in the usa?) to them and helped raise their social profile by publicly raising awareness to their problems (ten yrs later)Yeah it changed how I felt about him and all of that patriotic stuff in the eighties from him too .
