go check http://www.tank-fx.de
it's a german site but it's very easy to figure this out.....
I've just been visiting the room where these "Tanks" are located (been to a short film festival there)
you can simply upload an up to 60 seconds long sample and it gets played inside this Tube shaped concret tower and recorded with a pair of stereo mics.... and send back to you....
pretty amazing stuff....
wonder if Tracktion can compensate for the delay of this online realverb...
have fun

Actually it's a lot easier to upload a "Dirac" to this site, saves bandwidth also.griels wrote:We just need Max to write tankFXteleport for the Tracktion integration

Here is the IR I generated from it !
http://www.geocities.com/midiworks2/dir ... eoTank.zip
Seams they use a looped impulse for that,
needed to make a fade out.
Convert to WAV then load into SIR, PRESTINE ect.
Have fun !

strange then those thingys were all fake??? as I say I've been there yesterday... looking into the tank...Midiworks wrote:I read that later on at that site...
The 2 IRs I made looked quite the same
and sounded looped.
Also there is no fade out of the reverb... (release)
It is hard cut at high level at the end.
Neverless a cool thing !
