TotcProductions wrote:Nope nick...no problems at all on 2000...with service pack 4. Anyway, I like this coz when i'm using a revberb...it's for a natrual acoustic space and ambience...not an avant garde type of ambience where you have a long cavernous hall type of verb...most will achieve that. It's a warm realistic space that i'm after...and this seems to do the trick. I'm gonna play with it a bit more... still comparing to that R66...but you might have a customer here. ; )

peace!
great to hear that you like it, and thank you for the quick report. that is very kind of you.
a tip for you for tweaking:
reverse engineer the presets.
note that some presets only make sense with a sound of a given instrument category (thats why we made category folders).
you will see, if you watch the parameters of the presets,
that the settings are quite unusual compared to other reverbs.
i.e. if you like a preset, check how it is done.
have fun,

hi,
we checked our reverb on tracktion on xp.
runs smoothly.
just in case you might worry of the functionality in tracktion generally.
but, yes, you should indeed anyway consider to switch to xp, imo :D

Well, I tried the demo and no, it failed to open in
both eXT v1.3 and CubaseVST32 v5.1 under Win98.
Too bad. I guess I'll have to wait. :(

The problem as I see it is that there's very little
support for our precious operatives these days.

sorry, you seem to missunderstand me:
it is running in tracktion under windowsXP.
we don`t support win98.
i only wanted to let you know, that it is not an issue of tracktion.
because you mentioned that you would switch to winXP.
i wanted to make sure that you`d be able to work with it in tracktion, IF you switch to winXP.
sorry for the missunderstanding :) .

OK.
As long as it will run in eXT or Cubase later I'll be fine.
I don't use Tracktion.

Yah, it doesn't work at all on Win98. Didn't work in FL Studio 5 on windows 98 either. So I guess I have to go try it on my computer with Windows XP.

As far as the demos go, the sound is awesome!

After spending a lot more time with the demo, i've got to say i'm really warming to this reverb. I can't exactly find the big "wow" Lexicon or Yamaha verbs, but there are some great sounds in there. I love the editability, and being a sucker for inverse and reverse reverbs this is the best VST reverb yet. Not sure if I can justify the price to myself yet, but this is definately not a cheap reverb in any way ...
