Finally, a digital chorus that works for me!
The Analogflux Chorus is the closest thing to my much-missed Boss Chorus FX.
It never sounds artificial or overly glassy. This may, in fact, be the first vst fx I have heard that is actually better than by beloved (and expensive) Lexicon PCM-81.
Fantastic...

I have to confess that I have been mostly dismissive of digital Chorus.
Well, to be more fair, the glassy quality has just not done if for me.
Aleksey simply nailed it whith this one.

But does it have latency? My understanding of the analogflux stuff is that all the plugins were convolution-based and as such all contain latency... And when I tried the demo I seem to remember Tapebus for sure requiring pdc.

AFAIK there is no noticable latency... Or the latency still made the processed sounds fit in with the rest of my song without me noticing itfloyd wrote:But does it have latency? okay this bundle now really convinced me..... I'm gonna buy it... as soon as someone hands me a credit card.... or are there other methods of payment
I really like this stuff....
and when the convolution thingy will get a decent GUI that will be kick ass....
Aleksey if you're reading this I'll make you a very nice one - for the conv and the insert - if I get the bundle for free...
I just don't own a credit card

I think they are great too. Tapebus and the delay especially. But when I put the "insert" effect on a track, it sounds like it doesn't effect the sound at all.
I thought it might be due to my low budget monitors, or perhaps that my sounds are usually kind of grungy to begin with.
Also, I made a post on this forum earlier in the week saying that the new chourus GUI was cut off. Turns out it was a Sonar (host) problem, not a problem with the GUI.

the chorus & delay don't have any latency, if memory serves me right.floyd wrote:But does it have latency? esl, Insert plug-in is probably too 'esoteric' for most people's tastes.
If you can process a swept sinewave at Mod Noise setting 100%, you'll see a very considerable change of the waveform.
Generally, it does a great job at smoothing out overly sharp transients. However, it should be said that for some tastes it can sound like it is destroying the overall definition (muffles the air) - this happens because this plug-in affects left and right channels differently, thus adjusting stereo field directionality. This is for mod noise %0, when mod noise is above %0 plug-in also applies modulation noise - this may act as a soft low-pass filter and may smooth out transients even stronger.
visilia, indeed, both Chorus and Delay plug-ins have no latency.

The chorus is great. I just wanted to buy the PSP nitro because of the chorus, but this one is much smoother.
Great work.
Is the Analoglfux chorus the same as the other chorus in your product line ?
It has similar presets and sounds pretty similar at least tonight on my bad Laptop headphones.
Best, Tom

Absolutely - I have Nitro, the PSP Delays and numerous great sounding freebies but these sound completely different. Aleksey has really done a great job with the AnalogFlux set.JeffSanders wrote:The chorus and delay both sound gorgeous.
