What happened to the free synth contest thing?

A while ago I signed up for a synth-making contest here where people got 3 months to make a synth. Is that thing still going on?

Yea that's it. I 'm working on a pretty decent synth and if this thing is happening I'm going to skin it and release it to the public, but if not then I'm just going to use it myself.

If it doesn't I'll probably finish it and throw a slacker skin on it.

I have done very little work on the skin. It is still 90% SE default skin. The synth itself isn't close to finished.tuz wrote:at least show a picture or something. then you can tease us. nanana na na. heheh

I don't mean to hype anything, but it'll be kinda like this:
The name of it is "Clover"
It is basically 4 lined-up osc's. Each osc has it's own amp and pitch ADSR envelope, but can be linked to Osc 1's (main) pitch/amp ADSR instead. It will have 2 filters. These can be put in stereo mode or can be linked to indivisual oscillators (I.E., osc's 1 and 2 to filter one in high-pass mode and osc's 3 and 4 to filter 2 in low-pass mode, etc.). The distortion can be applied before or after the envelopes. I have always wanted distortion that can be applied before the filter, but I haven't found any.
It is being made in synthedit. I'm using la-la 3rd party oscillators and Sonicfire distortion, but I still need a good filter (I'd like the one used in GodKILLER III - where did that come from?) and I need a nicer ADSR as well.
When I started making it, it was meant for dirty, grimey DnB bass, but I'm giving it more options and it looks like it has some potential for pads. I'll probably include some onboard reverb and delay.
One bad thing: it tears the shit out of CPU like nothing.

I hope so too. I too think it's a brilliant idea. Mind you, with the recent releases from Ian W. (Yava2)Xoxos (Steam), HG Fortune (Swamp), and DMI (Foorius)... Do we need yet another 'super do all big ass colourful synth'?
But if it's 'ground breaking' or 'ultra-retro', I'm still game to see what comes up or goes down. Tuz my bro-bro - do it up my man!
