The manual dosn't say much about rendering. I need to know how you would make wav files out of individual tracks. Also what about making a sample from a synth preset with rendering? I have a track that uses a preset from a plugsound module, but one of the notes was poorly sampled on the module at one of the octave breaks. So I would like to get a sample of it and play from that. Please help.

Which version of FL Studio? If you search for rendering in the help files you'll find an entry on audio recording that should get you going.

Did you bother to search?

From the manual:
"FL Studio allows you to record the output of one or more mixer tracks to *.WAV files and auto-insert the resulting audio clips in audio tracks (optionally)."

The how-to is explained in detail.

As for your other question I can't help, sorry.

7th sense, just go to the Help menu, click "Contents", then click on the Search tab and enter "rendering". The audio recording entry is the one you're looking for (I hope).

thanks a lot that helps

all you do is solo that track and go to file, export, to wav, pick a destination, and save it.

Post

Yes, that does help, BUT, the routing may mess up your track render IF you have effects on the master channel, such as EQ, Compressors and Limiters. So that works only IF you turn all the master effects off.

Post

so how do master effects alter the result?

Post

well,if you have a master compressor and don't turn it off it will totally sound like shit, make sure you turn off all master effects...expecially dynamics.
