Ok then , maybe not a pattern maybe a patch
(I just meant pattern of behaviour)

). As I believe that anybody brave enough to try to ride a wild horse or coax a decent sound out of an original Moog modular should have jokes made at his expence for doing so...
now I'm joking again. Ahem! should be commended for doing so

I have very little experience with classic synths, so this was lost on me.
The problem is that I am at work now, and so topic drift is going too fast for me.
Perhaps they would let me quit and post here for a living instead??
I fear not.

What a job that would be !!!
Actually back on topic,
A friend of mine (he's learning drums) has been trying to re-create your beats, without much luck I should add. The mistake I think he's making is he's trying to copy you exactly so I keep telling him to do what he would do and not what you would do and so far he can't copy you or do his version, I can do better with single hits
Hope your working day passes with ease for you, as for me it's well passed my bedtime

Well, drums are a pain in the ass, which is why things like Drumkit from hell are so popular.Whoomph wrote: Actually back on topic,

But at least your friend is trying to learn beats instead of fills.
When I was growing up, everyone just bypassed the beats and just played fills, rolls and even extended drum solos.
Probably part of why everyone was always trying to get me in their band back then.
Either that or I had the only mom who allowed us to jam in the house.
